Dimitrios Mylonadis, Director

Sensory Integration Specialist, MScOT(paediatrics), BSc(Hons) OT

I have been working in the field of Paediatric Occupational Therapy since 2001. I completed my first degree in the Technological Educational Institution of Athens: School of Health Sciences, Faculty of Occupational Therapy in 2001 and received my Master of Science in Paediatric Occupational Therapy (with distinction) from the University of East London in 2004. In 2008 I completed postgraduate studies in the field of Childhood Anthropology at Brunel University.

I hold post-graduate qualifications in Sensory Integration from Sensory Integration International in the United States of America and from the Sensory Integration Network UK & Ireland. I have been involved with mainstream children with learning and autistic spectrum disorders.

I worked in London for a Local Education Authority for two years where I set up a specialist Sensory Integration Service in a primary school. This involved assessment, treatment and follow-up services for children with underlying sensory-motor and developmental disorders.

In September 2005 I joined the lecturing team of the SI Network UK & Ireland and I have presented various courses and workshops. From October 2005 till July 2005 I worked as a lecturer on a part-time basis at Brunel University in West London and joined Hopscotch Children's Therapy Centre in December 2005. My clinical interests are:
